For Grinding Small Valves
When you want to grind small valves found in 4-valve cylinder heads, motorcycles and other small engines and they just don't quite fit in your Valve Refacer chuck, this kit is what you want.
We've done the homework and found what is arguably the best of the best for a small valve collet chuck. Because when you use one of these, you are stacking your tolerances, so you want the very best quality you can get. Every little error means an even greater error in your finished valve job. So don't settle for less.
Quality Components
The hardened steel body of this chuck adaptor fits any machine with a 1/2" chuck. Use different sizes of collets to easily adapt to the size valve stem you're working with. The collets seat in the retainer nut for fast, easy removal and come in 4 sizes from 3.0mm to 6.0mm.
An internal stop adjusts for valve stem length and adjusts easily with the included hex key.
Our Chuck Extension Rod has features not found on cheaper knock-offs. For example, the threads of the stop screw have flats to accommodate a wrench so if you ever get a collet stuck, you'll have a way of putting a wrench on both the shaft and the stop screw. With other Extension Rods, you would be forced to clamp your Rod and risk damage to its precision straightness. These are the kinds of little features that you only find on the "top-of-the-line" tools and it's what we demand for our customers.
Easy to Use
To use, simply insert valve that is to be ground in the Chuck Extension Rod using the correct-sized collet, then insert the Chuck Extension Rod into the valve grinding machine chuck as you would a standard size automotive valve. The high precision, industrial quality chuck, and collets ensure minimal run-out. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. We use only top quality, brand chucks, and collets in our kits that our factory machinists use every day and highly recommend.
